DigitalHeritage Expo, at its second edition, is the largest exhibition on Digital Heritage ever organised. Spread over more than 1000 sqm of space, the exhibition is divided into 8 sections: Interpreting our past, Preserving and disseminating heritage in danger, Finding the way into the past, Acquiring and reproducing heritage, Experiencing the past, Immersing in the past, Digital Libraries, Videos and Stereo Computer animations. In each section, presented projects try to solve most important issues in the field of Cultural Heritage and Digital Technologies.
Supported by BMTA’s Archeovirtual and Arqueologica 2.0, the Expo is hosted in the great location of the Science Park Museum in Granada from the 28th of September until the 2nd of October 2015. Best exhibitions proposals will not only be accessible for hundreds of participants of the DigitalHeritage2015 International Congress, but will also for the visitors of the museum.
Visitors to the exhibition travel through time and space, reaching diverse countries from around the world, covering an historical timespan of over 5000 years, the exhibitions lets visitors explore archaeological sites and monuments, get immersed in architectural astonishing environments and playing with historical virtual worlds, listen to stories from our past, interact with a wide range of devices, and finally to re-connect “digital” with “heritage”.
