I hold a Master’s Degree in Digital Arts from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain and a Graphic Design Degree from School of Design Toulouse-Lautrec, Lima, Peru. Also I earned a grant awarded by NUFFIC in Spatial Analysis, Processing and Visualization of Geographic Information (GIS) and Atlas Design at Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) - University of Twente, The Netherlands. I consider myself an artist, a designer and a teacher. I am interested in interdisciplinary projects with teams from different countries and professional backgrounds to achieve better and enriching projects. I focus my artistic activity to create pieces made with technology in concept and realization. Those explore relations between technology and gender, society and nature. The technology for me already has a speech, it means procedures, ways of doing and thus it speaks about identity. I have a deep commitment to the cultural heritage of my country Peru, I am interested in using technology to preserve, disseminate and understand it. In that sense I have founded and I am in charge of PatriaLab a division of MyAP a laboratory specialized in Scanning Electron Microscopy, dedicated to develop projects in digital heritage in Peru. Our main goal is to connect ancient technologies with the new ones to reflect and protect identity of our peoples. In this field I have been selected to give lectures and present projects in 2014 at V Congress in Metal Restoration, Lima, Peru and in 2015 at 16to Congreso Científico Internacional CNIC´2015, La Habana, Cuba, Jornadas de Conservación y Restauración, Patrimonio Cultural -Municipalidad de Lima, Lima, Peru, Segundo Congreso Internacional: El Patrimonio Cultural y las Nuevas Tecnologías, City of Mexico and Digital Heritage 2015 in Granada, Spain. I develop projects range from those that are built with public participation and interactivity, which reflect through and from the massive technological devices to those that combine scientific methods such as electron microscopy and mapping. I have exhibited my work in Peru, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Spain and Norway.
