Arantza Respaldiza is a researcher and her interests are mainly focused on visual reasoning, theory of visualisation, metadata and heritage. Recently she has defended her PhD in Geomatics Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (December 2014).

Her thesis is the development of this process and it is innovative because it integrates the process for valuation of heritage, considering the multifaceted dimension of heritage and exploiting the potential of visual reasoning. She has displayed creativity, imagination and hard work together with a strong background in Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.

She has experience in graphic, editorial, multimedia and web design. She has her personal brand ‘marh.es’, has worked on communication agency, publishing company and as freelance.
